Content Marketing for Agencies

Making more content will not fix your pipeline.

Agencies are unusually good at producing content and unusually bad at deciding what to produce. So you end up with a tactics blog nobody needed, written by the one person whose time is worth the most, distributed once, and measured by whether it felt good.

An agency content strategy has to answer three questions in order. What should we make, who makes it if not the founder, and how do we know it worked. Skip the first and the other two do not matter.

These posts cover all three. How to choose topics from what buyers actually raise instead of what you feel like writing. How to get content out of the founder's head and into a team without it turning to mush. Distribution and atomization, because publishing is not distributing.

And how to measure content marketing without kidding yourself. Traffic is not the metric. It never was.
